Lily Zhang, DPHIL ATOMIC AND LASER PHYSICS

I am a 1^st year DPhil student in Peter Norrey’s group.

Upon joining the group, I will be working on developing analytical and computational models for photon-photon interactions. These models will be used to quantify experimental results using one of the world’s highest power lasers-the Extreme Light Infrastructure.

I graduated with an MSc from the University of Cambridge, where I specialized in high energy physics and field theories. I am particularly interested in testing physics beyond the Standard Model.
